Mid-cycle ultrasound

I'm back from my mid-cycle ultrasound....and I'm not quite sure what's going on. I had a leading follicle on the left and right ovary, both only about 10mm. Follicles need to be around 20mm to be mature for ovulation. So, Dr. H thinks I've either already ovulated or I'm just not going to at all. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell right now either way. I'm going to keep temping in the morning and see if it goes up, and next week I'll have a progesterone level drawn to see if I O'd.

This has REALLY messed up my plan! I was going to tell Dr. H that I was going to see a new RE. But, now that I may have to go back for blood work next week, I didn't want to tell him obviously. I'm hoping my new Dr. M will just go ahead and take over from here and do my blood work so I don't have to go back.

So, basically, either I ovulated last night or I am not going to ovulate at all.

I guess the good news is, my endometrium (my lining) looked good. It was 10mm triple stripe, which is perfect. But, if there is no egg then it doesn't matter!

So, once again, there is uncertainty right now. Time will tell.
