Our shower at Brian's school yesterday was great!! We got a wipe warmer, a few towels, some wash clothes, a basket with diapers, wipes, lotion, body wash, etc. We got a couple of outfits, a whole lotta bibs, a huge case of diapers and wipes and then more packages of diapers and wipes (I think we are set for a bit!), a few gift cards, and ECU football jersey, some handpainted onesies (one with a purple and gold pirate ship!), a homemade baby quilt, a brown canvas diaper caddy with "MTS" initialed in blue on the side and it was filled with supplies...and a few other stuff too. We had a few presents at Brian's parents house too - so we went to Williamston go get those (more wipes, a different diaper caddy with supplies, and some sleepers). The whole school was there (all the teachers and assistants) and they had a homemade cake and yummy goodies and yummy punch. It was very nice - more than I could have ever wanted. So, now after 2 showers, we are just about set! There is only a small list of things left, and between my work shower next week and the gift cards we've gotten, we will be set for sure!! I am so amazed and blessed at how lucky we are to have wonderful friends and family to do nice things for us like that.

I think I lost a piece of my mucus plug today. It did not have any blood or anything in it, but it was different looking for sure (slimy and snotty). It was small and I've not had any contractions (other than 1 or 2 braxton hicks - which is normal) so no worries. Apparently, some people will lose a little piece of plug along the way, and some will lose it all at once, and some will not lose it at all! And alot of the time it will grow back. So, the small piece I saw today is no big deal at all. I'm only 5 short weeks away from full term!!! Hard to believe! My ticker number is getting smaller by the day! Down to 66 days to go! That is not long at all!

I had the lucky pleasure of getting off work early today. :) That NEVER happens to me, so I took full advantage. We are headed to Carolina Beach this weekend to visit with my brother and family and to hit the beach while we can! I'm on call Monday for the heart center, so it won't be a long weekend, but better than nothing for sure! Next week is my last week of work in PACU. I'm scheduled for Tues,Wed, and Fri. 1 week to go... MICU is still working on my orientation schedule. hope to have that in a few days so I know where I'm supposed to be and when!

My mom is 60 years old today! I can't believe she is that old - not that it's really old but it's starting to sound old. haha I remember when she turned 40. I thought that was a big deal. ;)

Hope everyone has a great memorial day weekend!
