One of my friends that I met in college has been doing this program called Body by Vi. She has lost 14 lbs in 6 weeks and she is a small girl in my opinion. She said she had 8 lbs left of baby weight to lose so she started doing this program and has already lost double what she wanted and she's only 6 weeks in. Another girl she knows has lost 56 lbs in 90 days. Crazy.

So it's a 90 day challenge. You drink 2 shakes a day to melt the pounds away. Basically just meal replacements. So, since it seems to be working for so many people, why not give it a go. I mean, if I can lose even 20 more lbs over the next couple of months that would be awesome. I'm only 7-8 lbs from pre-preg weight, then 10 lbs that I gained from all the infertility drugs. And even more on top of that would be bonus. So, I went to the store today and got all my frozen fruits to make smoothies with, some lean cuisines for dinner, sugar free jello pudding mix for flavor add ins for the smoothies. And some plastic bottles to make to go shakes. I'm ready.
So, I know this isn't going to be a walk in the park. So, this program also has a couple of supplements to help me with hunger control. I'm not one to really take stuff, but years ago (when I was in college) I took a supplement from Beachbody.com and it really helped. These supplements have the same ingredients so I'm sure I will do just as good. Everything is set to come in on Tuesday, so it looks like Wednesday is going to be my start date.
An example of before and after from the 90 day challenge:

Yes, these are all people who actually lost all this weight in 90 days. There are all people my friend knows who introduced me to this program. Needless to say, I'm impressed. Of course, this requires sticking with it AND excercise. It's obvious that toning is a part of this. I'm preped. I've got this covered. Oh and the man in these pictures did not exercise at all, so it's possible, but I really need the toning too.
Anyway, that's my plan. I'm ready to get this started and lose some more weight. I hope to have good success with this, but every body is different. I'm hoping mine responds well to this like it did for these people. My goal for 90 days is 20 lbs loss, 30 would be amazing. More would be even better but that is getting unrealstic. Any loss is a plus.
I'll blog when I get my kit in. Day 1 coming soon. Thanks Nickie for helping me along this journey. :) I hope I can be one of your success stories.
