Can you just please look at my ticker and see how cute my baby is? :)
It's def. looks like a full fledge baby now. So cute. This week with the baby is the last week of organ development. After this week, everything is formed and set to go, so conginital abnormalities time period is over. So, hopefully all went well during this time! Baby is the size of a plum.
The ONLY reason why I'm going to paste this next picture is because I've been doing it. I want to say first that the baby in this picture is not that cute, and it doesn't look anything like my ticker OR the picture that is in my "pregnancy week-by-week book that I have here at home. My ticker and my book have looked pretty similar from the start, and this picture hasn't. But, as tradition, I must continue to put it up here:
I've had some nice time off. Our trip to PA was interesting and relaxing. Interesting for several reasons. DH and I encountered a ghost, my SIL fixed sourcraut...probably the WORST smelling thing you can do to a preg. lady. Sourcraut stinks enough, but add a pregnant nose to it and times that smell by 1000. It was terrible, but I think I did a good job at hiding how bad it really was. The food looked great (hotdogs, pork, mashed potatoes, green beans), don't get me wrong, but the only thing I could eat was green beans (and they were GREAT). And I threw up in the car on the way home. Which was no fun. I hadn't thrown up in 6 days. I was trying SO hard to not get sick. I really didn't want to throw up in front of everyone, but there was nothing I could do. And I missed the bag at some point, because I had throw-up on my pants/shirt/underwear. So, luckily we were by an exit with a gas station so I was able to clean up and change. I just want to say that I think my in-laws are great. They are very sweet to me, and I am treated just like a daughter to them. Not many people can say that about their in laws. I am blessed.
Oh and my FIL has named the baby if it's a girl. He has come up with this name all on his own, and I actually like it. I'm not settled on it yet, but it is a continder: Carson Elizabeth.
My agenda for the next couple of days is to take down christmas stuff, and then off to work for the end of the week.
Counting down to 1/12 ultrasound; only 8 more days. Also a countdown for the end of first tri: 2 weeks 6 days to go till 2nd tri.
