12 weeks! Hells yes!
Baby looks so cute in my ticker. Most everything has finished developing. Now it's just got to grow. Baby's pituitary gland is producing hormones now, and intestines are contracting (practicing moving stuff through the bowels).
Now, I realize that I'm only 12 weeks when I say this, but keep in mind that I have ALWAYS been VERY sensitive and "in tune" with my body. I think it *could be* possible that I have felt baby kick. 3 times now all within the last couple of days. I've always heard it described as "flutters". Not what I felt. It felt more like a muslce twitch but in my lower belly. I guess it's possible that I WAS a muscle twitch. I dunno. But, since I CAN feel my ovaries when they are working, I guess it could be possible???? Again, I know it's REALLY early for that, but anyway.
So, I'm still waiting for this nausea to get better. Hello!? It's 12 weeks! When is it going to end!? I've been thinking the fatigue part was getting better, but not so much. I left work Friday early (4 hours early) because I was SO exhausted, came straight home and went to bed at 8:30pm and did not wake up until 8:30 am the next morning. And I took a 2 hour nap today and woke up in the same position I fell asleep in. I must say though, that my sleeping has improved some. I wasn't sleeping well, but I seem to be not letting that numb hip thing bother me anymore because I'm not having too much trouble sleeping now. I'm glad. Better get my sleep now!
DH and I have bought a recliner. It's something we've wanted for a while anyway. Plus, we'll need something other than couches to sit in with the baby. We got a brown leather one. It'll come in a couple of weeks. In the mean time, we spent Saturday night re-arranging furniture in the den. :) haha. We've got a nice spot for it now, and we only had to get rid of a table in the den to make it all fit. For now, the table is residing in our bedroom.
We also went out and starting looking for cribs/baby bedding, just to see what we like. There's a nice kid's furniture place here in town, and we found a crib that we really liked there, better than BRU (aka Babies r Us). We also found a boy's bedding that we really liked (I think it's Bananafish brand...) so if we have a boy that's already picked out.
Baby this week:
Again, the baby in my ticker looks like the baby that is my my pregnancy week by week book. This 3D picture kinda sucks now...as we go, you'll see how weird baby looks even in 3rd tri.
I'll try and take a picture of by baby bump and post up here soon. It's pretty cute I must say.

I am sure you will feel that baby sooner than most people! Although that is very early! But you never know. You will know though when it gets less fluttery and more like little kicks from the inside.
ReplyDeleteSorry you are still feeling sick. I think Christina said hers didn't end until 13 weeks. I am sure you are getting close.
Don't worry about boy bedding, because it is a GIRL! LOL

by the way, when i saw your u/s pics i got a strong boy vibe...so i'm officially changing my prediction. i was way off with brayden so this could still work out in your favor, plus karen won my baby betting pool and is pretty right on with this kind of stuff. it's prob a girl but i'm just saying i felt some boy vibes.
